The Starrett 831 Small Hole Gage is exactly the same as the 829 Series except that the gaging surface is a half-ball with a flat bottom. This permits use in even the most shallow holes, slots, and recesses. .125-.200" (3.2-5.1mm) Range, 2 13/16" (70mm) Length recesses.
